Passion Fruit
We also tried passion fruit for the first time today, interesting, but yummy! We were told at the market not to eat the seeds, so we were confused how we were suppose to eat this... then we looked it up online, you eat all of the stuff in the middle, you just dont really chew it! It has a sweet but sour flavor, some are sweeter than others! I love trying all of this new stuff!
TUE Jan 29, 2013
Alright, im trying out this blog stuff... i feel like i post too much on facebook and dont tell you all what we are actually up to, so here it goes! and excuse my spelling and not capital i's (it drives micheal nuts) :) He is cringing as I type.
So, today we went into town to buy a grill, which we have really wanted and been missing! while we were there we went to the fish market, it was my second time there and Michaels first, he was very excited! We got ourselves a BIG Red Snapper!!! And had it for dinner, soooo yummy (thank you husband)
Michael is now in term 2, and the first 2 weeks of second term he has just two classes, he just had the finals yesterday and today. So that means we got to spend the day together as he doesnt start the new classes and studying until tomorrow! After we went into town, Michael came to LIMES with me (the after school program i volunteer at tue-thu most weeks) for the FIRST time. The kids LOVED him!!!!! At one point he had 3 kids piggy backing as he was running through the field! They were crawling up him like he was a jungle gym! ill post pics to follow! So that is about all for now! We feel VERY blessed for all of the love and support sent from back home and for all of the new friends we are making here in Grenada <3 God is Good!
